Community Alarm Service
Magenta Living Community Alarm Service provides an alarm unit, which allows you, or your relatives, to live independently without feeling at risk. We provide a 24 hour monitoring service, where our staff take fast and appropriate action if an emergency occurs.
How does it work?
The alarm is raised by pressing a large red button on the Community Alarm unit, or by using a pendant trigger button. The caller is put through to our 24 hour monitoring centre, where staff can instantly access your details, such as name, address and medical information. Staff will then choose an appropriate action; whether to contact a friend, relative or doctor.
The Community Alarm can benefit you and your relatives as it:
- Helps to maintain independence
- Increases safety and confidence at home
- Provides support.
