We’re reviewing our Tenancy Policy, and we’d really value your feedback.

We want to make sure our Tenancy  Policy is clear, fair and genuinely helpful.

This helps us make sure our homes are used fairly, our communities are supported, and customers are given the right level of security and support.

What This Policy Covers

Our Tenancy Policy explains:

  • The different types of tenancy agreements we offer

  • How we provide homes

  • The rights and responsibilities that come with your agreement

  • How we support customers to manage and sustain their tenancy

It’s designed to balance things like stability for customers, fairness in how homes are allocated, and making sure we can continue to invest in homes and services.

Our Approach

We aim to make sure the right people are in the right homes.

To do this, we will:

  • Allocate homes in a way that is fair, transparent and based on housing need

  • Offer different types of tenancies depending on individual circumstances and housing schemes

  • Support customers if their situation changes and they may struggle to maintain their tenancy

  • Make sure our tenancy agreements clearly set out expectations, rights and responsibilities

  • Help protect neighbourhoods so they remain safe, stable and good places to live

  • Monitor and support customers to manage rent payments and sustain their tenancy

Supporting You

We understand that people’s circumstances can change. If you’re worried about keeping up with your tenancy - whether due to financial pressures or personal changes - we’re here to help.

We can offer support, advice and guidance to help you stay in your home wherever possible.

Why This Matters

This policy helps us:

  • Use our homes in a fair and responsible way

  • Support strong, balanced communities

  • Make sure customers have the right agreement for them

  • Continue providing homes for people who need them
