Young people across Wirral are being invited to turn their ideas into reality through the Pathway to Enterprise programme – a free enterprise initiative designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to start their own business.

Delivered by Spark Youth in partnership with Magenta Living and JobsPlus, the programme is open to people aged 16 to 25 who are interested in self-employment, exploring a business idea or taking the first steps towards becoming their own boss.

Over three weeks, participants will take part in interactive workshops covering entrepreneurship, idea generation, branding, marketing, sales, finance and pitching. The programme aims to equip young people with practical skills while helping them build confidence, develop their ideas and connect with like-minded peers.

The programme begins on 22nd July 2026 and concludes with a final pitch event on 12th August, where participants will present their business ideas to a panel, with awards recognising the Best Business Idea, Greatest Social Value and Best Pitch.
