Andy
Andy Lomas
Chief Executive

Andy joined Magenta Living in April 2023. 

Andy has over 30 years of experience in the housing sector, including more than a decade in Director, Managing Director and Chief Customer Officer roles. He began his career in customer facing roles, giving him a grounded understanding of what matters most to customers and communities. He has since worked across a wide range of services, including housing, care and support. Collaboration is a big part of how Andy works, and he values strong relationships with colleagues and partners to help deliver positive outcomes for customers. Throughout his career, Andy has designed and developed services that aim to make a real difference. He brings this experience to Magenta, helping us build a culture where people feel respected, informed, and empowered.

 

 

 



 

Paul Mc


Paul McGrady
Chief Financial Officer

Paul joined Magenta Living in August 2024.

Paul started his career in his local council finance department before going on to work for a range of public bodies across the Northwest and North Wales. He became Finance Director for Denbighshire County Council before moving into housing at an executive level ten years ago. Alongside his finance roles, Paul has also led numerous large development and regeneration projects. He is clear about the importance of good affordable homes and safe, supportive communities, and this belief has guided the way he works. Paul also holds non-executive director roles with a community food production company and a leisure and community health charity. He was previously a board member of Wrexham University and a housing association. Paul's approach is grounded in doing the right thing, making careful decisions that benefits both customers, colleagues and the communities we work in.

 

 

 

Emma Adams

Emma joined Magenta Living in January 2024.

Emma has worked in senior HR roles across the pharmaceutical, development, construction and agriculture sectors before moving into housing in 2018. Her experience includes leading people in large and complex organisations, as well as delivering people and technology based transformation programmes that change how teams work for the better. Emma also leads our marketing, transformation, data, HR and learning and development teams. She plays a key role in organisational change, helping us build a culture where colleagues feel supported, informed and confident to do the right thing. Emma believes in building cultures where people feel respected, listened to and confident in contributing to organisational success and ultimately making a difference to the customers and communities we serve. Emma holds a BA Hons in Business and HR Management from Leeds Metropolitan University and is qualified with the Chartered Institute of Professional Development.




 

 


Karen DooleyKaren Dooley
Interim Chief Customer Officer

Karen joined Magenta Living in April 2024.

Karen is also responsible for ensuring we comply with the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards.

She brings more than 20 years of experience in customer focused roles across private and public sectors. Karen has worked with national organisations, including the Very retail group, where she led Customer Service Transformation for a major UK brand. She also served as Customer Services Director at Riverside, one of the UK's largest housing providers, giving her deep insight into what customers need and expect.

Karen is passionate about helping others grow and making sure the customer's voice is always heard. She helps us keep customers at the heart of everything we do, working to make our services are accessible and make a difference for the people who use them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wayne Cole

Chief Property and Investment Officer

Wayne joined Magenta Living in November 2024.

Wayne i s our Health and Safety Lead and the Principal Appointed Person for Building Safety with the Building Safety Regulator.

Wayne brings over 25 years of experience in compliance and risk across construction, property and housing. Wayne began his career in the Royal Navy at 16, serving as a Marine Engineer on HMS Invincible. This early experience shaped his practical, problem solving approach. He later trained as a scaffolder rigger, working on offshore oil rigs, where his interest in health and safety grew. Since moving into the housing sector in 2006, Wayne has held senior roles with MITIE, Home Group, Portakabin and Places for People, where he was Group Director of Compliance. His responsibilities have included Health and Safety, Building Safety, Safeguarding, Quality Assurance and Sustainability Compliance. Wayne's experience, and his commitment to building a culture of trust, safety and wellbeing, helps us empower people and better support both our customers and colleagues.
