Debi Marriott-Lavery
Chief Executive
Debi joined Magenta Living in November 2022.
Debi has over 20 years experience working at a senior level in the Health, Social Care and Housing sectors, strategically leading teams and transforming businesses to provide innovative high-quality services in diverse and challenging markets for both public, independent and not for profit sectors. Debi’s former roles include that of Group Executive Director of Affordable & Social Housing at Places for People, Managing Director Community Services, Care UK and Chief Operating Officer at Anchor Trust. Prior to housing, Debi spent a decade in health and social care as a qualified healthcare professional.
Debi is extremely people focussed, placing customers and communities at the heart of her approach. Debi is also a Trustee for a UK charity providing support to people with disabilities to live, learn and work independently.
Andy Lomas
Chief Operating Officer
Andy joined Magenta Living in April 2023.
Andy has nearly 30 years experience in the housing sector, with over 10 years at Director and Managing Director level. Andy has a track record of successfully designing, developing and transforming housing, care and support services and he is passionate about leading people, teams and partnerships to deliver great outcomes for customers and communities. Andy is responsible for ensuring we comply with the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards.
Ann-Marie Spencer
Chief Information Officer
Ann-Marie joined Magenta Living in March 2024.
Ann-Marie firmly believes that everyone should have a home and community they can be proud of and is committed to using her skills and experience to help make that happen. Ann-Marie has held senior posts across both the private and public sector, specialising in digital transformation. Ann-Marie is passionate about people-centric transformation and embraces technology and innovation as an enabler to make positive differences to customers and communities.
Emma Adams
Chief People Officer
Emma joined Magenta Living in January 2024.
Emma has held senior HR roles in private sector pharmaceutical, development & construction and agriculture companies before entering the housing sector in 2018. Emma has a track record of driving innovative people strategies, creating a strong company culture and transforming the experience of colleagues to ultimately improve the customer experience through its people.
With BA Hons in Business & HR Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, Emma is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD).
Paul McGrady
Chief Financial Officer
Paul joined Magenta Living in August 2024.
Paul started his career in his local council finance department before going on to work for various public bodies in the Northwest and North Wales. He became Finance Director for Denbighshire County Council before moving into housing at an executive level 10 years ago. As well as his finance roles, Paul has also taken responsibility for numerous large-scale development and regeneration projects. Paul is clear about the benefits of good affordable homes and safe supportive communities and this has guided his approach to his work. Paul also has non-executive director roles on a community food production company and leisure and community health charity. He was also previously a board member of Wrexham University and a housing association.
Wayne Cole
ChIef Compliance & Sustainability Officer
Wayne joined Magenta Living in November 2024.
Wayne brings over 25 years of experience in compliance and risk, covering construction, property and housing. He joined the Royal Navy at 16 and travelled the world as a Marine Engineer a board the HMS Invincible where he learned the fundamentals of problem solving which he still draws on today. Wayne then completed an apprenticeship to become a scaffolder rigger, it was here working in the dangerous environment of building offshore oil rigs where his interest in health and safety, and in turn, compliance took hold. Later, while working in London on the construction of the Jubilee Line extension and Westminster Station, Wayne attended night school at King’s College to complete his first health and safety qualification.
Wayne first undertook a role in housing in 2006 and since then has held significant roles with MITIE, Home Group, Portakabin and Places for People where he was Group Director of Compliance responsible for Health & Safety, Building Safety, Safeguarding, Quality Assurance, and Sustainability Compliance. Wayne's extensive experience coupled with a commitment to nurturing a culture of trust, safety, and wellbeing will be invaluable to both our customers and colleagues .
Wayne is also the Health and Safety Lead, and the Principle Appointed Person for Building Safety with the Building Safety Regulator for Magenta Living.
