Chief Executive

Debi joined Magenta Living in November 2022.

Debi is the former Group Executive Director of Affordable Housing at Places for People, a role she held from July 2019. Responsible for over 100,000 customers and 2,000 colleagues.

Debi has held a number of senior housing management roles.  Originally joining the Places for People group in 2015 and soon becoming Chief Executive of Living Plus - the group’s specialist supported housing provider; delivering all round accommodation, care and support to help customers with complex needs live independent fulfilling lives. Debi spearheaded the need for supported services alongside good housing in a ‘more than just a roof’ approach.  Debi is extremely people focussed, placing customers and communities at the heart of her approach.    

Debi now has over 20 years’ experience working at a senior level in the Health, Social Care and Housing markets, strategically leading teams and businesses to provide innovative high-quality services in diverse and challenging markets for both public, independent and not for profit sectors. Debi’s former roles include that of Managing Director Community Services, Care UK and Chief Operating Officer at Anchor Trust. Prior to housing, Debi spent a decade in health and social care as a qualified healthcare professional.

Winner of the 2021 Inspiring Professional of the Year Award, Debi, is also a keen amateur artist in her spare time.

 

 

Andy Lomas

Executive Director of Customers and Communities

 Andy Lomas has nearly 30 years experience in the housing sector, with over 10 years at Director and Managing Director level. Andy has a track record of successfully designing, developing and transforming housing, care and support services and he is passionate about leading people, teams and partnerships to deliver great outcomes for customers and communities.

 

 

 

 

 

Ann Monk Ann Monk

Executive Director of Finance 

Ann joined Magenta Living in December 2019 having formerly held Finance Director posts in both the private and public sector in pharmaceuticals, museums and galleries, logistics and education.  Ann brings a broad range of experience in change management, financial control, governance and strategic management to support Magenta Living in the delivery of our strategy as we continue to invest in the organisation.

Ann won the prestigious Finance Director of the Year award (Charity and Not for Profit) for 2023.

Ian Thompson Ian Thomson

Executive Director of Assets and Development

Ian has worked with a number of Housing Associations and Local Authorities in the North West over the last 30 years. Ian brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and is key as we move forward investing in our current homes through our active asset management and climate change strategy. Ian also has responsibility for delivering our ambitious plans to build 1,000 much needed new homes.
