Exciting Leadership Update at Magenta Living
We're thrilled to share some exciting news, Andy Lomas has been appointed as Magenta Living's Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
This marks an important step forward for us as we continue to focus on delivering the best possible services for our customers and communities.
Andy brings a wealth of experience, with over 30 years in the housing sector. Many of you will already know him as our Chief Operating Officer, where he has spent the last two years playing a key role in shaping our Road to 2030 Corporate Strategy. His dedication to improving how we respond to and support our customers has been truly inspiring, and we know his leadership will ensure we stay on track to further our goals in this important area for us.
Andy shared his thoughts on this exciting new chapter:
"It's a real privilege to step into this role. Magenta is full of people who care deeply about what we do - and I've seen the difference we can make when we lead with purpose, integrity and clarity. My focus will be on keeping up the momentum and delivering on our ambitions - always doing the right thing for our customers, colleagues and communities. This is a place where people genuinely want to make a difference, and I'm proud to be part of what comes next."
As we celebrate 20 years of Magenta Living, we're taking this opportunity to reflect on all we've achieved together. Today, we manage 13,000 homes across Wirral, supporting nearly 10% of the local population by providing homes and wider support from benefits advice to community activities - and there's still so much more we want to do.
We'd also like to take this moment to thank Debi Marriott-Lavery, our outgoing CEO, for her outstanding leadership. Debi has been instrumental in setting Magenta Living on the right path and has left a lasting legacy that will guide us into the future. Thank you, Debi, for everything you've done.
Looking ahead, we're confident that under Andy's leadership, we will continue to grow, improve, and deliver on our mission to opening doors to homes full of love, communities full of life and a world full of possibilities.
