Investing in Safety and Peace of Mind

At Magenta Living, the safety and comfort of our customers is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're investing in the future of our high-rise buildings by replacing lifts with state-of-the-art systems , ensuring every customer feels secure and supported when accessing their home

Recently, we launched a major lift replacement project across several of our Wirral high-rise buildings , aiming to provide reliable, modern lifts that meet the latest safety standards and make daily life easier for those who live and visit there. Th is phase includes new lifts installed at Brackendale in Woodchurch with Liscard House in Liscard set to follow soon. These upgrades represent a significant investment and improve reliability in both buildings and in our customers' wellbeing.

We know that change can be disruptive, so we carefully planned each step to minimi s e the impact on customers and communicated with them throughout the project . We made sure that at least one lift always remained in service , and stairlifts were fitted for those who needed extra support. Thanks to this approach, no one had to move out during the work and e veryone could stay comfortably in their own home.

But our commitment doesn't stop at new equipment. A big part of this upgrade means we are introducing technology that alerts our team immediately if there's a problem with a lift. This means we can respond quickly - often before customers even notice an issue - reducing downtime and making it easier for customers to get on with their day. It also means fewer calls for repairs, as our team are already aware of any issues and can act fast to resolve them

Looking ahead, we're excited to bring further improvements to more of our buildings, including Knowsley Court in Rock Ferry which is due to be completed this year and Sunningdale in Moreton next y ear. Neston Gardens in Birkenhead a nd Apollo Court in Wallasey ha ve both had this work completed

Wayne Cole, Chief Property and Investment Officer said:

We want everyone to feel safe and supported in their home. That's why we're continuing to invest in projects like this. By using smart technology to keep an eye on how lifts are working, we can spot problems early, fix them faster and make sure everything runs smoothly. It means fewer breakdowns and a better service for the people who live in our buildings.

At Magenta Living, every investment is an investment in our customers' safety, comfort , and peace of mind.
