Magenta Wins Best Small New Home Development at YM Liverpool Awards

Magenta Living is proud to announce that we have won Best Small New Home Development at the prestigious YM Liverpool Property & Business Awards 2025, in partnership with our development partner Starship Group. This award recognises our innovative Brook Street development in Birkenhead - a project that showcases our commitment to building high-quality, energy-efficient homes using modern construction methods.

The Brook Street scheme, which sits on the former site of the Brooklands high-rise, has transformed a long-vacant space into eight stunning new homes. Delivered through Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), the homes were largely built off-site at Starship's Wallasey factory, reducing disruption to the local community and speeding up delivery. Each home boasts an EPC A rating, exceeding government targets and aligning with Magenta Living's ambition to build 1,000 new homes by 2030. This means lower energy bills and a more sustainable future for our customers.

Funding for the Brook Street development was partially provided by Homes England's Affordable Homes Programme, reinforcing our shared commitment to delivering affordable housing across the region.

We were also honoured to be nominated for Best Affordable Housing Scheme alongside Seddon for Three Sails Point. While we didn't take home the award in that category, we're delighted to have been considered among such outstanding developments.
