National Apprenticeship Week 2026: Celebrating Skills for Life at Magenta Living

We're celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026, and this gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate the contribution our apprentices make to Magenta This year's theme, Skills for Life, reflects exactly what our apprenticeship programme is all about.

At Magenta, we know that investing in apprentices is more than offering a pathway into work. Our apprentices bring fresh energy, new ideas and a drive to learn, develop and grow within the organisation - helping shape the future of Magenta

We currently have 11 apprentices across roles including electricians, plasterers, joiners and housing management services. With our relaunched apprenticeship programme, we're excited to welcome more young talent into the organisation over the coming months.

Our commitment remains clear: to ensure every apprentice is fully supported throughout their learning journey so they can build skills for life and a long-term career with us.

During #NAW26, Andy Lomas, Chief Executive Officer, spent time meeting with our apprentices to hear about their experiences, what's working well, and where we can continue strengthening our offer.

Following meeting with our apprentices, Andy Lomas, Chief Executive Officer said:

Empowering people is our purpose at Magenta Living, and that absolutely includes our apprentices. Supporting them to succeed isn't just the right thing to do - it reflects our values in action. We're committed to giving every apprentice the guidance, experience and opportunities they need to grow, thrive and become the future leaders of our organisation.

We're proud that our apprentices describe Magenta as a good company to work for and they feel they're learning loads and receiving the support they need. At the same time, their feedback helps us keep improving. Apprenitces are the future of our company, and we're invested in ensuring our apprenticeship programme sets them up to succeed.
