Standing Together Against Hate Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in their home and community. That's why we're proud to raise awareness about Hate Crime Awareness Week and reaffirm our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) across our neighbourhoods.
What is Hate Crime?
Hate crime is any criminal offence that is motivated by hostility or prejudice towards a person's:
- Race
- Religion
- Disability
- Sexual orientation
- Transgender identity
It can take many forms, including:
- Verbal abuse or name-calling
- Threats or intimidation
- Graffiti or damage to property
- Physical violence, including sexual violence and arson
If you or someone you know is affected by hate crime, it's important to speak up. You are not alone, and support is available.
