Magenta Living Statement on RAAC
You will be aware following the recent media coverage about Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). This was used mainly in building material in public construction projects such as school buildings from the 1950s to the 1980s with the usage declining over recent years. It is our current understanding that RAAC has not been used in any of our homes and we are currently assessing if it is present in our non-domestic properties.
The safety of our customers and tenants is our main priority and we will continue to seek technically qualified advice where needed about this material.
