What is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

New Data Protection Legislation came into force during May 2018, which aims to protect the privacy of all European Union (EU) citizens and prevent data breaches. It will apply to any public or private organisation processing personal data.

GDPR is a regulation intended to strengthen and unify data protection for everyone within the EU. It requires greater openness and transparency from organisations on how they collect, store and use personal data, while also imposing tighter limits on the use of personal data.

We value privacy and want to be clear about the data we collect, how we use it and your rights to control that information, which is why we've made some updates to our Privacy Statement Notice. We made these updates to reflect the high standards established by GDPR.

We respect your personal data. We have never and will never sell it to third parties. Magenta Living's Privacy Statement is available to view in full here. If you would like a copy of our Privacy Statement sending to you, please contact us on 0808 100 9596 and we will be happy to send you a copy.
